  1. How to interpret this risk warning
    All terms used in this notice, which are defined in the Bluedot Terms of Use (the “Terms of Use”), have the same meaning and construction as in the Terms of Use .
  2. Bluedot Services
    This notice provides you with information about the risks associated with the Bluedot Services. Each Bluedot Service has its own distinct risks. This notice provides an overview of the risks when you use the Bluedot Services.
    This notice does not explain all risks or how those risks relate to your personal circumstances. It is important that you fully understand the risks involved before making a decision to use the Bluedot Services.
  3. No personal advice
    We do not provide personal advice in connection with our products or services. Sometimes we provide factual information, information about transaction procedures and information about potential risks. However, any decision to use our products or services is made by you. No communication or information provided to you by Bluedot is intended to be, or shall be deemed or construed as, investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, or any other type of advice. You are solely responsible for determining whether any investment, investment strategy or related transaction is appropriate for you based on your personal investment objectives, financial circumstances and risk tolerance.
  4. No supervision
    Bluedot is not your broker, intermediary, agent or adviser and has no fiduciary relationship or obligation to you in connection with any trades or other decisions or activities undertaken by you using the Bluedot Services. We do not monitor whether your use of the Bluedot Services is consistent with your financial goals and objectives. It is up to you to assess whether your financial resources are adequate for your financial activity with us and for your risk appetite in the products and services you use.
  5. No tax, regulatory or legal advice
    The taxation of Digital Assets is uncertain, and you are responsible for determining what taxes you may be subject to, and how they are applied, when you transact through the Bluedot Services. It is your responsibility to report and pay any taxes that may arise from transactions on the Bluedot Services, and you acknowledge that Bluedot does not provide legal or tax advice in connection with these transactions. If you are in any doubt about your tax status or obligations when using the Bluedot Services, or with respect to the Digital Assets held on the credit of your Bluedot account, you may wish to seek independent advice.
    You acknowledge that, when, where and as required by applicable law, Bluedot will provide information about your transactions, transfers, distributions or payments to tax authorities or other public authorities. Similarly, when, where and as required by applicable law, Bluedot will withhold taxes related to your transactions, transfers, distributions or payments. Applicable law may also prompt Bluedot to request additional tax information, status, certificates or documentation from you. You acknowledge that failure to respond to these requests within the defined time frame may result in tax withholding by Bluedot, which will be remitted to the tax authorities as defined by applicable law. We recommend that you seek professional and personal tax advice in respect of the above and before entering into any digital asset transactions.
  6. Market risks
    Trading digital assets is subject to high market risk and price volatility. Changes in value can be significant and can occur quickly and without notice. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance. The value of an investment and any return can go down as well as up, and you may not get back the amount you invested.
  7. Liquidity risk
    Digital assets may have limited liquidity, which may make it difficult or impossible for you to sell or exit a position whenever you wish. This can happen at any time, even during times of rapid price movements.
  8. Fees and charges
    Bluedot may, at its discretion, update the fees and charges from time to time. Please be aware of all costs and charges that apply to you, as such costs and charges will affect the earnings you generate from using the Bluedot Services.
  9. Availability risk
    We do not guarantee that the Bluedot Services will be available at any given time or that the Bluedot Services will not be subject to unplanned service interruptions or network congestion. You may not be able to buy, sell, store, transfer, send or receive Digital Assets at any time.
  10. Risk of third parties
    Third parties such as payment providers, custodians, and banking partners may be involved in the provision of the Bluedot Services. You may be subject to the terms and conditions of these third parties, and Bluedot may not be responsible for any losses these third parties may cause you.
  11. Security risk
    It is not possible for Bluedot to eliminate all security risks. You are responsible for keeping your account password secure, and you may be responsible for all transactions under your Bluedot account, whether or not authorized by you. Transactions in digital assets may be irreversible, and losses due to fraudulent or unauthorized transactions may not be recoverable.
  12. Risks related to digital assets
    Given the nature of digital assets and their underlying technologies, there are a number of inherent risks, including but not limited to:
    a. Failures, defects, hacks, errors, protocol failures or unforeseen circumstances that occur with respect to a Digital Asset or the technologies or economic systems on which the Digital Asset is based.
    b. Transactions in Digital Assets are irreversible. Consequently, losses due to fraudulent or accidental transactions may not be recoverable.
    c. Technological development that leads to the obsolescence of a Digital Asset;
    d. Delays that cause transactions not to settle on the scheduled delivery date.
    e. Attacks on the protocol or technologies on which a Digital Asset depends, including, but not limited to:
    i. distributed denial of service
    ii. sybil attacks
    iii. phishing
    iv. social engineering
    v. piracy
    vi. smurf
    vii. malware
    viii. double spending
    ix. majority mining, consensus-based or other mining attacks
    x. disinformation campaigns
    xi. Forks
    xii. spoofing _
  13. Surveillance of risks
    Digital asset markets are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Rapid price changes can occur at any time, even outside of normal business hours.
  14. Communication risks
    When you communicate with us through electronic communication, you should be aware that electronic communications may fail, be delayed, may not be secure, and/or may not reach the intended destination.
  15. Currency
    Currency exchange fluctuations will affect your profits and losses.
  16. Legal risk
    Changes in laws and regulations may materially affect the value of Digital Assets. This risk is unpredictable and can vary from market to market.
